Volunteers needed by Home-Start Bracknell

Are you a mum, dad, grandparent or carer?

We need people with your experience to volunteer.

  • Make a difference to the lives of parents and children locally.
  • Enhance your well-being.
  • Access free high-quality training.

Home-Start is a local community network of trained volunteers and expert support helping families with young children through their challenging times. We are there for parents when they need us the most because childhood can’t wait.

Home-Start Bracknell Forest is a registered charity which offers practical and emotional support and friendship to families with young children. We have more than 25 years’ experience of supporting local families with young children and recognise the increasing pressures they are under.

Families, who may be overwhelmed, exhausted or finding parenting a struggle, are matched with a trained volunteer to support them through situations as diverse as illness, isolation, bereavement, multiple births, depression or disability. Our support is free, confidential and tailored to each family’s identified needs.

Our next training course starts Tuesday 25th February 2020, 9.30am – 2.30pm for 6 weeks. If you would like to join us and find out more, please call Sharon at the Bracknell office on 01344860025 (email: office@hsbf.org.uk) or visit http://www.hsbf.org.uk
